Welcome to The AI Operator
I ship AI agents in production. This is where I write down what actually works, and what breaks.
I’m Eugeniu Ghelbur. I build AI automation for a living. Agents that run in production, not demos that look good on a slide. This newsletter is where I write down what I learn doing it.
If you want the short version of what I do, it's open source. I rebuilt Andrej Karpathy's LLM Wiki pattern into a second brain that maintains itself, and put the whole thing on GitHub: I rebuilt Karpathy's LLM Wiki. It got cloned by people I have never met: I built this for myself. Then 1,374 strangers cloned it.. That repo is the spine of most of what I write about here.
A Bit About My Journey
My professional path has been diverse and rewarding, spanning roles from Digital Marketing to Web Development, and now to Data Analytics. Each step has given me valuable skills and insights that I’m excited to share with you, especially as I delve deeper into data-driven problem-solving and operational strategies.
Here is what you will actually get:
Obsidian plus AI workflows. How I run a vault as an AI second brain. The patterns, the plugins, the parts that break.
AI agent patterns. What holds up in production and what quietly fails. Decision trees, failure modes, the stuff nobody puts in the docs.
AI for humans. How to bring AI into your work and your team without it feeling like a cult or a chore.
No hype, no “10 tools that will change your life.” I ship this stuff, so I only write about what I have actually run.
Thank you for being here. If you are new, start with the Karpathy rebuild. It is the clearest picture of how I think. Then clone the repo and try to break it.
That is the publication. Let’s build.
